Cibo by Illiano, in Short Hills, Cherry Hill, is on the brink of becoming something big. This authentic Italian restaurant is full of dishes that will keep your mouth watering.
When you first enter the store, you are surrounded by the aroma of freshly made pizza and garlic knots. The restaurant is perfect for families so if you are looking for a Sunday night take out/dine-in restaurant, this is the one for you.
The restaurant is known for three main dishes. First off, they have their famous Cibo Chopped Salad. This is spring mix tossed with sweet apples, prosciutto, grapes, provolone, and fresh herbs tossed in an olive oil dressing. Next is the Chicken Monterossa which is spinach and sundried tomatoes, topped with mozzarella cheese and a pink brandy cream sauce over a choice of pasta. Another fan favorite is their Gnocchi Del Nonno. This is the potato pasta with chopped prosciutto, fresh tomato, meat ragu and truffle oil glaze. These dishes are ones that you do not want to miss!
CIbo makes an effort to accommodate customers with allergies such as nuts and gluten.
“We have gluten free items and there is a spot on the menu where the gluten free products are located. We recommend to the customers, if they are allergic, to read over the ingredients first to they do not have an allergic reaction.” Said Conner Gray, an employee at the CIbo of Cherry Hill.
There are two locations in the area near Cherry Hill East High School: The Cibo of Cherry Hill and The Cibo of Marlton. They both offer a wide variety of dinner or lunch options. Their busier days are on Friday and Saturday so get in there quick before the restaurant fills up!
Finally, there is a pizza special exclusively on Wednesday and Thursday! Go on in to the store to receive a large plain pizza for $8.99. It is an offer you don’t want to miss.
