Senior Perspective: Jordan Parent

For me, high school was everything I imagined and more. The most important things I learned weren’t inside the classroom. In my opinion, the most cliché but true thing I have discovered is that life is what you make it. Whatever you do and wherever you go, make sure that you put your 100 percent into it. It took me two years to really put myself out there, but as soon as I did, I had only wished I’d done it earlier. I have met the most amazing people, experienced incredible events, and made lifelong friendships just because I stepped out of my comfort zone junior year. High school does not have to be the best four years of your life—it is really up to you. The more you put into it, the more you’re going to get out of it.
