Boys’ swimming advances to state championship

On Tuesday, February 23, East’s boys’ varsity swim team beat Mainland 89-81 in the semi- finals of the state playoffs. With the win, the Cougars earned the right to take on Bridgewater- Raritan in the New Jersey Group A State Championship on Sunday, February 28, which will take place at The College of New Jersey. The last time the Cougars made it to the state group championship was in 2002.
