East student athletes commit to colleges
On Feb. 4 at approximately 10:45 a.m., five seniors signed to their newly committed college.
To commence, Dr. Hume started speaking by introducing the coaches who came to support their athletes along with announcing the athletes and their new school.
Each athlete had the opportunity to say a few words thanking those who helped them reach this point.
John Hansen (’15) committed to George Mason University for baseball, Mike Kueny (’15) committed to Delaware for rowing, Terry Hall (’15) committed to Bucknell for track and field, Emily Rimdzius (’15) committed to Seton Hall for soccer and Nikki Zaso (’15) committed to West Chester University for soccer.
After the athletes spoke, they were instructed to sign. It was a very exciting time with many photographs taken to capture the moment.
