Yesterday, the East girls’ basketball team lost 57 to 54 against Eastern Regional High School’s top-ranked girls’ basketball team in South Jersey. The competition was tense as the East girls kept up with the aggressive and skilled Eastern players. Leading scorer Genevieve Boisvert (’10) had an impressive 11 points by the second quarter. The first half ended with Eastern leading 33 to 23. However, the score became closer with just a three-point difference when the buzzer sounded at the game’s close.
