Activities Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:

Flower Show

Tired of all the winter weather? For a breath of spring air, check out the Flower Show, open this weekend at the Deptford Mall. The show is presented by The Future Farmers of America, an organization that prepares students for horticultural careers. Flowers will be on display in the mall’s center court. Admission is free. The Deptford Mall is located on Deptford Center Road in Deptford, New Jersey and is open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on  Sunday.

Sports Card and Collectible Show

For those interested in sports memorabilia, come to the Moorestown Mall this weekend to see and purchase cards, plaques, and autographed new and vintage keepsakes. Over 50 vendors will be set up throughout the mall. The Moorestown Mall is located on Route 38 in Moorestown, New Jersey, and is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

4th Annual Jeans for Teens

Have a pair of old jeans? Visit any Aeropostale Store this weekend to donate them to a good cause! The jeans will be delivered to local homeless teens. As a thank you, those who donate will receive 25% off a pair of new Aeropostale jeans. Jeans will be collected until February 13. Aeropostale stores are located in many local malls, including the Cherry Hill and Moorestown Malls.

Friday, January 28:

Studio II Production

Come to East’s annual Studio II production for an evening of entertainment! The show starts at 7:30 p.m. in the East auditorium.

Saturday, January 29:

Black History Show

Come to Cherry Hill’s Annual Black History Month Production! The show is collaboration between Cherry Hill East and West, and features students and community members. This year’s show is entitled “Black Broadway” and honors African American actors, plays and musicals, and highlights the mark they made on history. The production will take place in East’s auditorium at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Israeli Dance Marathon

For an evening of Israeli dancing, tasty snacks, and great music, come to the third annual Israeli Dance Marathon, at The Gershman Y in Philadelphia. At 8 p.m., there will be a beginner’s class, and then there will be dancing from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Tickets are $12, and can be purchased online at https://www.gershmany.org/buytickets.php?programid=300, or by calling 215-545-4400. The Gershman Y is located at 401 South Broad Street in Philadelphia.

Sunday, January 30:

Wildlife Conservation Film Festival

Interested in animals? Come to the Wildlife Conservation film festival to see a two-hour series of multiple short feature documentaries. Guest speakers may be present also for a question and answer session. The film festival is at the Visitor Center of the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Philadelphia, located at 86th street and Lindbergh Boulevard. Tickets are $8. Show times are from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
