Senior Perspective: Nicole Joven

Okay, I’m not really sure how this should go and I’m not going to trouble myself to know, after all it’s senior year. But, all I know is that I DON’T want to sound like a robot or make anything superficial. On that note, I’m going to tell it like it is…which I’m an expert at anyway. I’m just going to make it sort of a diary entry…not that I would not know how that goes since I don’t have a diary but here it is:

                                                                                                            2011, best class ever

Dear Diary,

Time here at Cherry Hill East is coming to an end. Not really sure how I feel about this, but many are antsy to get out. Word in the halls is that they can’t stand East (secret’s out, oops). Frankly, there is good and bad in anything and it is up to us to make the best of it. Me, being the optimist that I am, look at East as a glass half full. This experience, high school that is, has been truly one of the best four years of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I know it sounds cliché, and trust me when I say that I would be the last person on the face of the earth to state something like that, but no other words can describe it. Here, at the one and only Cherry Hill East, I grew mentally, socially, emotionally, and all other –ly words. I know that every senior’s world is about to get rocked with the whole college shindig, but my situation of going back to the Philippines cannot get topped. Yeah, I just made it a competition. I just want to sign off the note that East has made the most unforgettable memories for me and for that, I thank you East and you will be missed (for the most part).
